Delta - MKS®



PFS a.s. Brezová pod Bradlom as the only Slovak company under the license of Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH Herdecke ( offers the metal surface treatment with the DELTA-MKS® system. The system ensures compliance with the requirements of the European Parliament and Council of Europe Directive no. 2000/53 / EC banning the use of heavy metals Cr6 +, Pb, Hg, Cd. DELTA-MKS® protective coatings do not contain these heavy metals, the substances used do not have carciogenic and mutagenic effects.

Coating is done by dipping components - Dip Spin Coating followed by "drying" in a continuous furnace.

Advantages of Delta-MKS® protective coatings:

  • System meets the requirements of environmental protection without heavy and toxic metals Cd, Cr6 +, Pb, Hg, producing minimal waste.
    High corrosion resistance in salt fog tests according to DIN SS 500 21, depending on the type of coatings and the number of their coatings, up to 2000 hours.
    Excellent chemical resistance, Kesternich test according to DIN 500 18 according to the type of coatings and the number of their layers up to 15 cycles. Resistant to most solvents including petrol, diesel and brake fluid for use in the automotive industry.
    Impossibility of hydrogen embrittlement of metals
    Heat resistance up to 200 ° C
    Possibility to reduce friction coefficient by application of Delta Seal GZ
    Available in a wide choice of colors - commonly used Delta Tone 9000 silver, Delta Seal black and silver.
    The application of Delta Seal allows the formation of a non-conductive coating, avoiding the possibility of contact corrosion


DSCF7661Types and properties of surfaces offered:

DELTA PROTEKT® KL100 – a basic inorganic system consisting of zinc and aluminum micro lamellas providing cathodic protection of the parent metal. The surface is electrically conductive, heat resistant for short time (1 hour) up to 200 ° C, min. to 180 ° C. Color silver. 1 layer thickness approx. 4 micrometers. Recommended min. 2 to 4 layers.

Corrosion resistance 240 - 1100 hours in salt mist

Delta® Seal, Delta® Seal GZ – elastic organic coating especially for steel substrates with Delta Protekt® KL100 coating. The visible plastic layer (GZ with PTFE) provides a non-conductive surface with contact corrosion protection, increases salt fog resistance and chemical surface resistance. It stabilizes and reduces the friction coefficient (GZ). Can also be used on passivated aluminum and stainless steel. Layer thickness 2 - 4 micro-m, used 1 - 3 layers. Heat resistance min. 150 ° C.

Corrosive resistance depending on the number of undercoats up to 1000 hours. in salt mist.

Commonly used colors: black, silver; possibility of red, blue, green, gray and brown colors on special request.
